14 Days

Forgive me readers for I have been silent. It’s been fourteen days since my last post…

I just wanted to post something new so that when I cruise by this site I’m not greeted by Mr. Poe’s particularly creepy face. He not only looks like every story he ever wrote, but it appears he actually lived through them as well. The man looks a wreck!

Anyway, I think I broke my toe Tuesday night. iTunes 10 is a colorless, steaming crap pile of suck, and Steve Jobs is a jackass for saying that people don’t want “amateur hour.”

So there.

    • The usual stubbing on the furniture that suddenly jumped out in front of me. I’m not sure it’s broken, no bones sticking out and very little swelling, but it’s bruised nicely.

  1. Yikes, hope the toe isn’t too much of an issue.

Agreed about iTunes – and Ping is nothing if not amateur hour. Jobs should go back to his shuriken collection.

    • They’ve really stuck it to the podcasters over the last couple of “improvements” to iTunes. Things get harder to find, and little things like the link to the iTunes store page of a podcast in your subscription list that’s now gone, just pisses me off. And they changed the way iTunes interacts with automator/applescript, pretty much making useless a little workflow I had for batch encoding mp3 files and such. Apple’s approach to things is wearing thin on me.
